Winter activities to enjoy during the 2025 festive season

Spa Cinq Mondes

Take time to relax at the Cinq Mondes wellness centre located at Golden Lakes! Enjoy relaxing treatments and massages while your loved ones explore the surroundings or take part in other activities.

Natura Parc

Discover the world of Natura Parc and enjoy unique outdoor experiences. On the programme: a magical Christmas storytelling walk for children (27 December 2025), an original gourmet walk with cheese fondue to prepare along the way, and an outdoor laser game for an adrenaline boost in the forest.

Crocodile Rouge

Ideal for a family day out, this park offers a variety of activities such as laser tag and a visit to the dam.

The Spin

Have fun solving the puzzles of an indoor escape game or dare to try the unique experience of winter water skiing. Until 4 January 2026, a temporary chalet is available on site for a cosy and gourmet break: the Spin Chalet.

The Golf Leisure Center

A perfect place for families, with activities such as mini-golf, foot-golf, disc golf and a 9-hole course for golf enthusiasts.

Christmas markets near the Lakes of Eau d’Heure in 2025

12 to 14 December 2025: Christmas markets of Chimay and Couvin

With its wooden chalets, the Chimay Christmas Market is one of the most beautiful in the region. You will find local crafts, regional products and entertainment for the whole family.

Couvin also welcomes you for a full Christmas market weekend with activities for young and old alike.

18 December 2025: Petigny Christmas Market

Enjoy the friendly atmosphere of this market on Place Saint-Victor. With mulled wine, special beers and a visit from Santa Claus at 6 pm, there is something for everyone.

20 December 2025: Pesche Christmas Market

This Christmas market takes place on Place Saint-Hubert with artisans, gourmet products and festive entertainment. Santa Claus will also be there to delight children.

Other winter events not to be missed

21 December 2025: Christmas tractor parade

Organised by the FJA of Chimay, this magical tractor parade starts at Place Léopard. Along the route, enjoy several bars serving mulled wine and hot chocolate, as well as a food truck at the finish and the presence of Santa Claus.
Good to know: every registered child receives a free bag of sweets.

27 to 29 December 2025: Kids Village in Couvin

The Couvidôme turns into a paradise for children with inflatable castles and water obstacle courses.

• Inflatable castles: 1 pm ▶ 6 pm (€6)
• Water obstacle courses: 2 pm ▶ 6 pm (swimming pool rate)

1 January 2026: New Year’s plunge at Lake Plate Taille

Start the year in a unique way with the New Year’s plunge in Lake Plate Taille. This icy tradition gathers brave participants and many spectators every year!
